Back In Vegas

I have been back in Las Vegas for 2 months now. It has been quite an adjustment for the kids and I, but God is good. There is a lot of character building going on (translation: it hasn't been easy). As expected, living with my parents has proved to be a challenge.

For the first month I tried to homeschool the kids..........it didn't go over well with my parents! To appease the living situation and to give myself more time to study, I , with a heavy heart, sent the kids to school. It has proved to have it's good points. There is much less tension with my parents. I have more time to study and rest. The kids and I walk to school everyday which gives us plenty of time to talk, memorize Bible verses, and get exercise at the same time.

Besides school for both the kids and I, we are taking a Judo class, the kids are in Awana and we are spending lots of time with family and friends we have been away from for so long. I am also working for a pharmaceutical research company part-time as a Research Associate (i.e. nurse). Church............we haven't decided. We have been church hopping, just praying about where we should stay. It was great to visit Apex!! It felt good to be back with "family".

Well, there is a (sort of) quick update. I don't know when I will write next. School, I am sure, will prove to be very time consuming................
